• to encourage the development of multihull yachts and doing so their safe design construction and handling;

• to develop and expand the sport of multihull racing and cruising;

• to act as a focal point for multihull interests in Victoria and as appropriate to represent them within the yachting fraternity and the Victorian Yachting Council;

• to disseminate information of use or interest to members;

• to provide resources and facilities to assist in carrying out these objectives.
